Virgil Barker remains in critical condition at a burn unit in Ohio after a sudden blow torch explosion set him and his business ablaze on Saturday. Friends and family are hoping for the best.

A mother and her oldest child remain in critical care after being struck by a tow truck.  Based on witness accounts, police do not intend to charge the driver.

A columnist is applauding the towing industry for dodging local rate caps by negotiating for a statewide measure.  “Tow truckers are doing doughnuts around the politicians.”

Despite their grief, the family has been kind enough to express that they feel for the driver involved. By all accounts, Oscar Martinez-Sarmiento did nothing to cause the accident – but human guilt doesn’t always work that way.

According to the suit, police and other officials have told drivers the company is not permitted to receive the work due to the ongoing investigation, plus the added allegation that he stole vehicles. Owner says its costing him thousands.
